We Develop customized solutions that achieve organizational desires, maximize available resources, and meet regulatory requirements.

We Integrate solutions through a continuous improvement process while engaging all internal and external stakeholders.

Mitigating Climate Change

We elevate energy and energy-related emissions management, using the Stillwater Climate Mitigation Process:

  1. Rethink buildings and facilities to potentially remove unnecessary processes and systems

  2. Decarbonize current systems and vehicle fleets to utilize clean forms of energy

  3. Optimize electric and thermal use through efficiency to reduce emissions impacts

  4. Integrate the above solutions into the grid using energy storage, demand response and onsite renewables

Supporting Equity

We use our work to support increased equity in the communities we serve. We work with our clients to optimize their programs positive impacts using the tenets of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI). There are two core benefits to applying a DEI lens to SEM:

  1. We engage with more people, equaling more energy saved and more emissions mitigated.

  2. We engage more deeply with the people we engage.  Each person takes more individual action.

We Engage with our Clients to:

  • Develop a DEI roadmap and tailored DEI program strategies

  • Develop workforce capabilities through program participation

  • Optimize technical approaches to maximize equity impacts

  • Deploy innovative DEI approaches

Producing Positive Economic Impacts

We work closely with utilities and agencies to design cost-effective programs that:

  • offset generation, address peak demand, and address capacity challenges

  • defray grid upgrades

  • support other goals such as fleet electrification

For participants in our programs, the end-use customers see numerous benefits:

  • bottom-line energy savings

  • regulatory impact and energy risk reductions

  • more engaged employees and occupants

  • energy-related emissions reductions
